A MindShare Learning Moment with Richard Erdmann an elementary school principal with the York Region District School board. He has been in the education field for the past 30 years, with the last 18 years as a school administrator. Richard is currently one of three provincial counsellors for the Ontario Principals’ Council representing the YRDSB. Richard co-moderates the monthly #OPCchat leadership chats which focuses on a variety of topics of interest to leaders and aspiring leaders across the province and beyond.
Richard is passionate about embedding Modern Learning approaches into his work as a school leader and works to model effective use of technology into his practice with his staff and students. Appropriately integrating technology through our school’s Learning Commons, Maker Space and staff professional learning/leadership opportunities is one of his goals.
